Short history of the program:
AmanDa's first trip to Salt Spring was in the summer of 2012, followed by a short visit in 2013. In 2014 she came back on her bike, straight from the ferry on a Saturday, for the Pride parade. That day she met Sky Lintott, who hosted Entrancement on what was then CFSI FM, and the two of them hung out all afternoon. Sky invited her to his show the next night, Sunday at 9pm. The following day, Monday at 4pm, she went to his jazz show too, and that's where she met Radha Fournier, the station manager at the time.
AmanDa asked Radha if she could have a radio show. Radha told her to write up a proposal. Within the hour she had one ready, with "It's About Story Time" topping her list of name ideas. Radha approved it on the spot, and the show was born. Radha would later help AmanDa purchase her own sailboat, and was instrumental in her journey of discovering stability and growing roots on this beautiful rock.
AmanDa never did end up leaving Salt Spring, because now she had this radio show. She lived aboard that sailboat, then a trailer, and now she's married with a house and a kid, and still here.
