Harmonic Expeditions

Harmonic Expeditions is an extension of the show host’s endless curiosity about music, sound, stories and creative people. A tech communicator with expertise in acoustics, hifi, loudspeaker design, computer hardware and noise control, Mike Chin moved from Vancouver in 2016. He loves the quiet of SSI, its rich diversity of talented residents, and the many opportunities to engage with local communities after decades of online/international work. When not working on CHIR.FM, Mike can be found tinkering & listening in his studio/workshop, plonking on a guitar, or planning events with A Friendly Wave (https://www.afriendlywave.com/) cohorts.
