Open House & AGM 2025

3:00 pm: OPEN HOUSE @ SIMS

5:00 pm: ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

7:00 pm: LAUNCH PARTY @ LEGION #92

Now that we've been on the air for two months, we're hosting an Open House at our studio on Salt Spring Island, in the portable at SIMS, between 3pm and 5pm.

We're easy to find: at 124 Rainbow Rd., come up the hill behind Mahon Hall and we're at the end of the parking lot.

Come and see where we broadcast from and chat with some of our show hosts. There'll be cake!

Gulf Islands Community Radio Society will then be holding its Annual General Meeting at 5pm.

The meeting will be upstairs in the main SIMS building and we'll have signs up showing the way.

We'll be presenting annual reports and electing our new board of directors.

Then at 7pm, it's off to Legion Branch 92 for our Launch Party, featuring performances by Valdy and The Gunnits, plus a performance by a special guest. It's an all-ages event until 9pm.

Our guests can enjoy nibblies and cake, plus get a chance to chat about CHIR 107.9 FM.
